Forschungsinteressen
Meine Forschungsinteressen liegen an der Schnittstelle zwischen Sozialpsychologie und Persönlichkeitspsychologie. Insbesondere interesse ich mich für die Frage, welche Eigenschaften des Wahrnehmenden (Perceiver) beeinflussen, wie Zielpersonen (Targets) wahrgenommen werden. Unter dieser Perspektive habe ich insbesondere das Thema Partnerwahl untersucht. Als Ausgangspunkt, um Hypothesen darüber abzuleiten, welche Eigenschaften des Perceivers und Targets relevant sind, nutze ich dabei evolutionspsychologische Theorien.
Daneben interessiere ich mich aktuell besonders für die Frage, inwieweit die Aufmerksamkeitszuwendung auf das Smartphones in sozialen Interaktionen stören können.
